About me (part 4)

Since then I became member of Polish national aerobatic team taking part in several aerobatic competitions including World Unlimited championships in Texas last year.

In 2009 I was invited to my first race as part of ground crew and in 2010 I was invited to take part in aerobatic training camps organized by Red Bull, that was begging of a great adventure.

Sadly RBAR took a break in 2010 to restructure and for those 3 seasons I continued to fly with Polish team, in 2010 I took one gold and 3 bronze medals in national competitions, sadly due to lack of sponsors and structured training 2011 and 2012 were not my best seasons.

Thankfully in 2013 team working on return of Red Bull Air race called me with the good news that the BRAR series would return and I was invited to few training camps with great coaches such as Patrick Paris and Klaus Schrodt. Those camps helped me to progress to top level and take part in Unlimited World Championships which took place in Texas, October 2013.

Thanks to great help from Red Bull and great aircraft I had available (Extra 330sc), I placed 34th of of 60 pilots, with great names including two world champions behind me. Not a bad place for a debut in top class aerobatic event!

Thanks to that good result I qualified for training camps which involved pylon flying.

After two camps in 2014 (UAE, Slovenia), I finally realized my dream. I have now received my restricted super license for racing.

This season I will attend at least 4 races, two most important for me will be home race in Gdynia and second home in Ascot in August. Hope to see a lot of old friends from Biggin Hill at that race.
